Schedule / Expected Work Hours
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts.
Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM with occasional overtime or on-call rotation during peak seasons.
Job Summary
Walker Mechanical a leading commercial HVAC contractor in Burlington, MA , is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician. You’ll handle service, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating and cooling systems while working in a supportive, high-performing team. Responsibilities
Service, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues
Wire low-voltage heating and cooling equipment
Install and repair refrigerant and gas line connections
Pre-measure and determine proper installation materials
Complete service/start-up reports and documentation
Mentor HVAC apprentices and helpers
Participate in ongoing technical training programs
Qualifications
3–7 years of commercial HVAC service experience
Strong troubleshooting and blueprint-reading skills
EPA & OSHA certification required
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Refrigeration Technician license
Preferred: MA Sheet Metal
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and safely work at heights
