About the Role
The Robotics Operation Associate plays a key role in developing our robotics models by running hands-on data collection and evaluation sessions.
You'll execute data collection protocols with precision, evaluate robot performance, and create detailed video annotations used to train our models.
You'll work in a fast-paced startup with direct exposure to robotics engineering and plenty of hands-on learning.
This is an entry-level role — no prior robotics experience required . We're looking for people who are reliable, careful, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities
Perform data collection tasks with robotics hardware
Evaluate robot performance against established criteria
Create detailed annotations for robot performance videos
Conduct quality checks on collected data to ensure accuracy
Maintain robotic equipment and testing stations, including basic troubleshooting
Document and report on data collection activities and any issues
Coordinate with engineers on protocol execution and equipment health
Support lab cleanliness, safety, and organization

Location: San Francisco, CA (South Beach/SoMa) — on-site 5 days a week
Schedule: Full-time, shift-based, scheduled in advance
Hours: 40 hours/week, including a 30-minute lunch break
Pay: $22/hour
Employment: W-2, facilitated through Deel

Nice to Have
Experience with data collection, lab work, or technical environments
Prior experience with robotics, mechanical systems, or hardware
Familiarity with basic electronics or tool use
