Schedule / Time Zone Expectations: 9 to 5 EST M-Th In Office and Fridays Remote

Compensation Structure: $135,000–150,000 + Performance Bonus: Target bonus of approximately 20% of base salary, with flexibility based on candidate experience and performance structure

About the Role

The Senior Performance Creative Strategist is a key, cross-functional role responsible for ideating, executing, and optimizing data-driven creative campaigns across paid social channels. This individual combines a deep understanding of performance marketing, consumer psychology, and creative storytelling to continuously test, evaluate, and scale high-performing creative that drives measurable business results. Working closely with marketing, creative, and leadership teams, the strategist will own a creative roadmap while ensuring every campaign strengthens the brand's voice in a competitive market.

Beyond developing high-performing creative, this role is responsible for building and managing the systems, workflows, and operating cadence that enable creative production and testing at scale. The ideal candidate is equally creative and data-driven, with the ability to evaluate ad account performance, identify why individual creatives succeed or fail, and translate those insights into compelling hooks, production-ready briefs, and new testing strategies. Success in this role requires a passion for experimentation, a systems-oriented mindset, and the ability to continuously improve both creative performance and the systems that power high-volume ad production.

Essential Functions

Lead end-to-end creative strategy and development for paid social campaigns, from research and ideation through briefing, production, launch, testing, and optimization.

Analyze Meta ad-account and creative performance to identify why ads, hooks, angles, and formats succeed or fail, and translate those insights into production-ready creative concepts, briefs, and testing strategies.

Build, manage, and continuously improve scalable ad-operations systems, workflows, templates, and operating cadences that enable high-volume creative production and testing.

Develop compelling, scroll-stopping, production-ready creative briefs, hooks, messaging, scripts, concepts, and creative direction for UGC creators, designers, editors, and video/static advertising, ensuring a consistent pipeline of new assets.

Leverage AI tools to accelerate creative research, ideation, briefing, variation development, and production workflows while maintaining creative quality and brand standards.

Collaborate with designers, editors, media buyers, UGC creators, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure creative excellence, brand consistency, and successful campaign execution.

Apply consumer insights, market trends, and performance data to continuously test, optimize, and scale high-performing creative that maximizes return on ad spend.

Manage the creative workflow within Monday.com or similar project management tools, ensuring timely delivery and effective execution across the creative team.

Prioritize Meta as the primary paid social channel while supporting creative initiatives across platforms such as TikTok and AppLovin.

Document creative learnings, testing results, and best practices to build repeatable frameworks that improve future campaign performance.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop and manage a continuous creative-testing pipeline, with Meta as the primary channel and support for TikTok, AppLovin, and other emerging platforms as needed.

Own the creative strategy roadmap by developing innovative messaging, visuals, hooks, storytelling, and testing concepts informed by campaign performance and consumer insights.

Partner with designers, copywriters, media buyers, and external creative partners to produce high-performing ad assets while ensuring brand consistency and creative excellence.

Monitor campaign performance, identify actionable insights, and present creative concepts, test results, and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Stay current on industry trends, competitive campaigns, platform updates, and emerging creative best practices to continuously improve campaign performance.

Manage creative budgets, timelines, and project execution to ensure work is delivered on schedule and within scope.

Document creative learnings and maintain a library of top-performing assets, testing frameworks, and best practices to support ongoing optimization.

Required Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience as a Performance Creative Strategist or in a similar role supporting high-performing DTC ecommerce brands or agencies serving DTC clients, with a proven track record of producing and scaling successful paid-social campaigns.

Deep expertise in Meta paid-social creative strategy, performance analysis, and paid-performance marketing, with familiarity supporting additional channels such as TikTok and AppLovin. (This role does not own Google advertising.)

Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to evaluate Meta ad-account performance at the individual creative level , diagnose why creatives, hooks, angles, and formats succeed or fail, and translate insights into actionable creative concepts, testing strategies, and measurable business results.

Expertise in A/B testing, creative iteration, campaign optimization, and consumer insights , with the ability to synthesize performance data and market research into high-performing creative.

Experience building and scaling creative operations , including repeatable ad-production systems, testing programs, workflows, and project pipelines that support high-volume creative development from ideation through briefing, production, launch, analysis, and optimization.

Proven ability to develop production-ready creative, including compelling hooks, messaging, scripts, visual concepts, creative briefs, and continuous testing angles for UGC, video, and static advertising.

Advanced fluency with AI-powered creative workflows is required , including hands-on experience using tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Parker, or similar platforms to accelerate research, ideation, briefing, copy development, and creative production while maintaining strategic judgment, originality, and brand quality.

Strong project management and collaboration skills , including experience managing creative projects, timelines, budgets, and production workflows using platforms such as Monday.com or similar project management tools while partnering effectively with designers, copywriters, editors, media buyers, and cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with creative production tools and workflows , including Adobe Creative Suite or comparable creative software.

Self-motivated, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Portfolio demonstrating performance-driven video, UGC, and static advertising , with the ability to clearly articulate the strategy, hypothesis, measurable results, and creative iterations behind the work.

Preferred Experience & Skills

Experience supporting high-growth DTC brands, with fashion, apparel, menswear, or lifestyle experience strongly preferred.

Comfort working with external agencies, influencers, and UGC creators to develop high-performing creative.

Familiarity with emerging social platforms, creative formats, and evolving industry trends.
