The Role

We're building a global network of experts, students, and creators who care about open source, AI, and robotics, and who want to help others plug into Physical AI. As an Ambassador, you'll represent Menlo in your community, grow the conversation around Asimov and Menlo Platform, and help the next wave of builders find their way in. This is a community role, not a job: it's for people who'd be doing some of this anyway and want a closer line to the team behind the robots.

Example Activities

Community: Moderate and energize our Discord and forum, welcome newcomers, and keep the signal high.

Socials: Amplify Menlo announcements, research, and releases, and bring your own voice to the conversation.

Events: Refer speakers for our AI and robotics demo days, host local workshops, and help run meetups in your region.

DevRel: Preview new tools and APIs, give us early feedback, and create tutorials and content that help others build on Menlo.

What We Look For

Genuine enthusiasm for open source, AI, or robotics, and a habit of sharing it.

An existing presence in a relevant community, whether that's a campus, a Discord, a dev circle, or a following of your own.

Strong communication and the instinct to help people.

Nice to Have

Experience moderating communities, running events, or creating technical content.

A background or active interest in AI, robotics, or software development.

Reach across a specific region or language we're trying to grow in.

Hands on experience with Asimov, Menlo Platform, or other open source projects.

What You'll Get

This is an unpaid, low commitment way to get involved with Menlo. You set the pace.

You'll get early access to Menlo tools and releases, platform credits, exclusive swag, a direct line to our engineers and researchers, and a real seat in a global community of builders. Ambassadors who stand out are the first people we look to for events, fellowships, and roles as we grow. Open globally and remote. We're growing the program, so we're looking for early members who want to help shape how it works.

A Note on AI

You don't need deep AI expertise for every role, but we do expect everyone at Menlo to be intellectually curious, drawn to tinkering and discovery, and excited to use AI as a real collaborator in their work. For some roles, AI fluency is a core requirement. When that's the case, we'll say so explicitly in the qualifications. People who thrive here don't treat AI as a novelty. They use it to think better, and make their work easier for others to build on.

Equal Opportunity and Accommodations

We hire talented people from a wide range of backgrounds. If you're excited about a role but don't meet every bullet, we still encourage you to apply. Menlo Research is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected characteristic. Menlo provides reasonable accommodations during the application process. If you need one, please let your recruiter know.
